The 6:00 Youth (Gr. 1-6) Wrestling session for tonight (Feb 18th) is cancelled.

The 7:30 Gr. 7-12 Wrestling session for tonight is still happening.

Weigh-ins for SWOSSAA happen at 4:00pm Wednesday.

The pipe break issue has been resolved. Practices are back on their regular schedule.

Tuesday, January 28th at 6:00-7:30 for Grades 1-6 and 7:30-9:00 for Grades 7-12.

There has been a pipeline break at SCITS. The mats are okay, but the wrestling room is being used to assist in the cleaning effort. Because the room is being used, there will be no practice tonight, Thursday, January 23rd. Check back Monday for details on next week’s practice schedule.

The Annual Sarnia Invitational Wrestling Tournament is happening at St. Clair Secondary School on Saturday, January 18th. Details are as follows:

• Venue: St. Clair Secondary School
• Wrestling Starts: Saturday, January 18th at 9:00am
• Weigh-Ins Due: Wednesday, January 15th at 8:00pm
• Extra Details:
  • Open Boys & Open Girls (No Rookie)
  • Only 2 Wrestlers per Weight Class per Team

It’s that time of the year again folks: Sarnia Wrestling’s youth program begins in January.

Practices start January 16th, 2014.

• Grades 1-6: Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:00-7:30pm
• Grades 7-8: Tuesdays and Thursdays 7:30-9:00pm

As always, practices are in Room 99 at SCITS. For more details, see our facilities page.

Cost to join is $150. This covers: Sarnia/Bluewater Wrestling Club membership, Ontario Amateur Wrestling Association membership, SBWC Club T-Shirt, Awards Dinner Ticket. All coaches are certified through the Coaches Association of Canada and Sport Canada.
